The Academy of Communication in Healthcare is excited to recognize the 2020 Putnam Scholars!
At this year's virtual Research Forum the top five abstracts for posters and oral abstracts were selected based on reviewer scoring in the submission process. Then judges viewed and scored the top five presentations as they were presented virtually to determine the winners.

ACH is so proud of the work healthcare professionals do every day and we know that each of you have been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. ACH has developed tools to support your communication needs during this unprecedented time.
ACH is looking to support health communication scholars and educators through participation in the Putnam Scholars Program (PSP), now in its third year! The program seeks applicants who have an interest in developing a career in health communication research or education.
ACH Headquarters will be closed for the holidays beginning Monday, December 23rd. Headquarters will reopen Thursday, January 2nd. ACH wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season and we look forward to working with you in 2020!
Congratulations to Barbara Bokhour, PhD recipient of the 24th annual George Engel Award For Outstanding Research Contributing to the Theory, Practice and Teaching of Effective Health Care Communication and Related Skills.
ACH is now accepting applications for the 2020 Faculty-In-Training (FIT) Cohort! This is a learner-centered professional development program where experiential learning is coupled with guidance from a personal mentor. The FIT program builds on the skills developed in the Relationship-Centered Communication Facilitation (RCF) program and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program (must have completed either prerequisite to be eligible to apply to the FIT program).
ACH is now accepting applications for the Relationship-Centered Communication Facilitators Program (RCF) 2020 Cohort. This is a program to develop future facilitators of the ACH fundamental workshop for delivery at their home institutions.
