Advancing Skills for Relationship-Centered Communication
January 13-14, 2020
Dallas, TX I Embassy Suites DFW Airport South
The Academy of Communication in Healthcare Facilitator Summit 2020: Advancing Skills for Relationship-Centered Communication, provides support for ACH Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program Facilitators and Program Leaders by addressing advanced facilitation skills, emergent trends relevant to communication skill improvement, and strategies for reinforcing and sustaining local communication programs.
The Summit provides a unique opportunity to foster connections across Facilitators and Leaders from other TTT programs representing 25 + healthcare institutions. Engage in highly-interactive large and small group sessions, led by a team ACH Senior Faculty and ACH Staff Leaders. While the primary aim of the Summit centers around support for Facilitators, we encourage Program Leaders to also attend.
Debuting the ACH “Conversations with Colleagues” Workshop: Given the climate of health care and expressed high interest in optimizing communication between healthcare colleagues, the featured large group session for 2019 will highlight ACH’s new offering, “Conversations with Colleagues.” All attendees will immerse in this content, with additional opportunity for Facilitators to learn the ACH approach and to practice the facilitation skills necessary for successful implementation at their home institutions via a special program track (details below).
The Summit will also feature three breakout tracks: 1) Enhancing Facilitation Skills, 2) Delivering the “Conversations with Colleagues” Workshop, and 3) Program Leadership Strategies. See the breakouts page for more information!
